Paying with Swish

You pay the organiser directly with Swish. The money never passes through Fidova, and we can neither receive, hold nor refund a course fee. That also means no payment registers itself. You mark that you have paid, the organiser confirms that it arrived, and the booking moves from Reserved to Confirmed.

How you pay

Open the booking under My bookings. The payment card shows the amount, the organiser's Swish number and a reference. Paying from your phone, swish the amount to the number and put the reference in the message. At a computer, scan the QR code with your phone and the payment is filled in for you. Bring the reference. It is what lets the organiser see which booking the payment belongs to. If the organiser has no Swish number in Fidova, the card says to pay as agreed instead, and you mark the booking as paid afterwards the same way.

You mark it, the organiser confirms it

Once you have sent the money, press I have paid. That is the step that asks the organiser to look for the payment. The booking reads Awaiting confirmation until the organiser has confirmed, usually within a few days. There is nothing more for you to do meanwhile and the place stays yours. If you never press the button the organiser gets no signal to look, and the booking can sit there as unpaid even though the money arrived.

The payment deadline

The organiser decides whether there is a payment deadline at all, and how many days before the start it falls. If they set one, the date is on your booking and you are reminded before it passes. If the organiser set no deadline there is none, and nothing is cancelled because a payment is late. Automatic release of unpaid places is built but not switched on. The system does not take a place back today; the organiser decides what happens to a payment that is late.

If the amount does not match

When less than the price arrives, the organiser records it and the booking shows what has been paid and what is left. You swish the difference and press I have paid again. When more than the price arrives, the organiser gets in touch about the surplus. It is the organiser who pays it back, not us. If the organiser has noted something else about the payment it says so on the booking, and you do not need to pay more until the two of you have talked.

If something goes wrong

Unsure whether the payment went through? Check your Swish history first. If the amount is not there it was never sent, and you can try again from the booking. If it did go but does not show on the booking: press I have paid if you have not already, and otherwise contact the organiser. The contact details are in the About the seller box on the course page. A refund is the organiser's to make too. If you cannot agree, the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) will hear the dispute free of charge, and the complaint is made against the organiser, because they are who you have the agreement with.
