Account and login

An account is free and keeps your dogs, bookings, messages and training journals in one place. You need one to book, but not to look. Courses, facilities and trainers can all be read without logging in.

Creating an account

Sign up with an email address and a password. We send a confirmation link there, and you need to click it before you can log in. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder and send it again from the same page. You can start booking straight afterwards, and add your dog's details as part of your first booking.

Continue with Google or Facebook

At the top of the login and sign-up pages are Continue with Google and Continue with Facebook. That way you need no password with us. Facebook sometimes passes on no email address. When that happens we ask for one, because we need to be able to send booking confirmations and notifications. You get a confirmation link at that address and you are in once you have clicked it. If you cancel the login at Google or Facebook nothing happens at our end, and you can use email and password instead.

Logging in and out

Log in with the email address and password you signed up with, or with the same service you created the account with. You stay logged in on that device until you log out. If you are told the email is not confirmed, it is the confirmation link that is missing, not the password.

Forgotten password

Choose Forgot password on the login page. We email a link, and you set a new password through it. If the link has stopped working, request a new one from the same page. If you created the account with Google or Facebook you have no password with us to reset. Log in with the same service as before.

What you control in Settings

Settings has Profile, Notifications and Account, and Visibility too if you own an organisation. Profile is your name, email, phone number and language. Visibility decides whether the organisation appears on the public pages, and its trainers with it. Notifications are set per category and per channel, in-app or email. Account is login and closing down. The language choice drives both the app and the emails we send. If you run an organisation there is also a data export here, with everything the organisation holds in Fidova as CSV and JSON.

Closing the account

Closing the account takes effect immediately. You are logged out and your profile disappears from the public pages. The data stays for 30 days so you have time to change your mind. We email a restore link, and using it within 30 days gives you the account back as it was. After the 30 days the data is anonymised permanently and the account cannot be restored. If you have bookings that are not finished, it is worth talking to the organiser first. We cannot end an agreement you have with them on your behalf.
